Word pad does not have a spell check. If you have a word processor,
like MS Word, that has a spell check, you can do some cut and paste work and
spell check it in Word and send it back toe Word Pad. There are some third
party spell check programs that work with other programs, but many of them
use the MS Word spell check program to do their work.

Hi Plezure,

I'm not sure why you would want to use Wordpad instead of a free word processor like the one in OpenOffice, but it's your
choice. There is a free spell checker that I use inside of Clarion applications called tinySpell that can be found at;
http://numerit.com .

OpenOffice is a large download, but well worth the time. When I donate computers to the School District, I always put a copy of
OpenOffice on it since it can read/write Microsoft compatible data files. OpenOffice v1.1.2 can be found at;
http://www.openoffice.org/ .
