Spell Check Skipping Words

In Word 2002, when Spell Check finishes it displays the message that Spell
check is complete and that it did not check those words marked to be
skipped." I did not deliberately mark any words to be skipped not do I know
how to do it. Where and how is this done and how is it undone?
