Do you have the spell checker enabled?
Check to see if you can check spelling in your word processor.
It might be that it is not installed by default. You might go to
Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > Works 7 click on change and see
if the options include the spell checker.

You could have found the answer to this by using Google. The answer is, you
don't. Had you had the Works /Suite/ installed you wouldn't have a problem
as that includes Word. IOW the spellchecker requires an Office grade
application to be installed. There are many free spellchecking applets
available for download - I've not used any of them so I cannot vouch for
their efficaciousness, but others have reported that they do work. You will
need to Google for them (maybe that will teach you to use Google in future!)
