Spell Check Macro in Templates

I created many templates for my organization a couple of years ago. I came
to this discussion group for advice on how to use spell check with these
locked templates and I was directed to
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/SpellcheckProtectDocContent.htm. That
was some of the best advice I have EVER received! It has worked great!

However, I upgraded the O/S from 2K to XP and I'm still using Office 2000.
When I installed the templates and the spell check macro from the site listed
above ... the macro no longer works. It just states that the spell check is
complete ... but it did not correct any misspelled words.

Any suggestions?

The problem is most likely with how the text in the document has been formatted.
It sounds as if your WINDOWS input language has been set to "Do not check
spelling or grammar" or to some language that has not been activated for Office.

Go into Control Panel/Regional and Language Options/Languages/Details and check
the "Default input language" setting?
