In which email program? If it's Windows Mail, the default language is
not fully set to English. Click on Tools, then Options, then Spelling,
then the triangle after the language, then some other language, then
Apply, then the triangle again, then English, then Apply again, then
OK.

Start Windows Mail
Click the Tools menu and choose Options...
Click the Spelling tab
From the Language drop-down, select English (default choice)
Click OK

Note: In step 2, make sure that you select the Tools menu from the main window, not the New Mail message window.

Error "This language is no longer available for spell checking" when using the Spell Checker in Windows Mail:

Language drop-down box under the Spelling tab in Windows Mail is empty:

I do not have "options" when I open TOOLS at the top. I do not know how to
add it.

Yes it was very helpful.

In which email program? If it's Windows Mail, the default language is
not fully set to English. Click on Tools, then Options, then Spelling,
then the triangle after the language, then some other language, then
Apply, then the triangle again, then English, then Apply again, then
OK.

Go to Tools>options>spelling tab, change the language selected to a
different one>apply,
Now set it back to English>apply>OK

Now try your F7 key to check spelling.

Hi Jerry

Again as in every email I read, there is no "options" selection button under
"Tools", so you can't click tools then options because it is not there.

As explained here many times, you must access the Tools menu from the
main screen, not from a window where you are composing the email message.
