Where can I find a list of SPECIFIC changes/enhancements
in the 2003 version from the 2000 version?

Trying to decide whether to upgrade.

Thanks.

Go to http://office.microsoft.com/assistance/preview.aspx; click on Excel
Assistance and do a search for What's New
For most users the highlights are: lists and better statistical packages.
With chart data in a list, the chart is dynamically updated when new data is
added to the list. The stat functions now give meaningful results with large
numbers (e.g. STDEV of 100000001,100000002,100000003). There is a Research
Pane or Pain depending on your point of view.
Then there is XML support, Smart Docs and Person Name Smart Tags - of no use
to me but vital to some.

And adding to Bernard's list, from 2000 to XP, still retained in 2003

Coloured workbook tabs
Filenames in headers and footers
Pictures in headers and footers
Better HTML handling
Autosave 'built-in'
Better crash recovery

2003 IMHO also has better handling of protection and sharing.

But we did lose the documentation to the DATEDIF function again! ;-(
