Hi, I am in grade 8, but I'm a comp. wiz, so dont be afraid to talk a little
technical with the following question. Ok, at my school, we have a program
called claris Homepage. For the webpages, if you want to put a graphic, you
can click on "Library" and it will give me a HUGE list of graphics,
animations, buttons etc. For many of the programs on our schools comp.
network, you can get these same graphics so I'm assuming the school has some
sort of program or they downloaded something to get all these images. On my
comp, when I am making slide shows, I would also like thi feature. I would
like to be able to click insert or something along that line, and put in some
wacky cartoon grpahic or animation. Is there some kind of program someone
here could recomend me to get these? I do many presentations and help on
websites, and I would like to be able to make them more interesting with some
different cartoon images. If someone could tell me of some program that gives
me these animations and graphics, that would be great. Preferably, I dont
want to spend money on them. If you could help me, it would be greatly
appreciated.... Thnx.

What you really want is a collection of "clipart". If you do a search on
Google for clipart, you'll find plenty of sites offering what you're looking
for. When you find ones you like, just save them to a folder on your
computer.

You can also purchase clipart CDs fairly inexpensively (under $10) at many
Staples-type places. Those usually give you a thousand or more clipart
images on one CD.

Have fun.

Ok, thnx Dan, I'll check out the CD, and most likely buy one if there $10. I
dont know if your talking American or Canadian, but if your talking American
$, then it can only be a few $'s more in Canada. Thnx. If someone else can
recommend me a good clipart program from staples, it would be great, but I
will be going to pick it up tonihgt, so please relpy soon if you have any
recomendations.
