Special file permissions

Hi,

I have a shared network folder called Projects. I want users to be
able to read the subfolders, and to be able to have full read/write
access to the subfolders and anything below.

I dont want the users to be able to create a new file of folder in the
root, just in the sub folders.

Any ideas what permissions I would require to make this happen?.

Ii have hundreds of sub folders, and there is an application used to
create them, and their sub folders.

Andrew,

Just add your group with the NTFS "modify access" permissions to the "projects" folder, and select "Apply onto subfolders and files" instead of the default "apply onto" item, and the add again the same group to the "projects" folder, with only read and traverse permissions apply onto this folder.

Regarding the share permissions just put read/write for the group.
