I ahve a P4P800-MX. In order to use the front panel HP jack the onboard
speaker jumpers must be removed for the Jack connectors. This makes the MB
speaker jack inop. My monitor speaker won't work, of course.

Am I mising something here? Any way around this. Was it a poor choise of MB?
I like the MB. If there is no way around this, is there an equivelant Asus
board with this capability?

Are you sure the jack is hooked up properly? The jack on the case is
normally supposed to feed the signal back through the board if there is
nothing plugged into it..
