speaker icon

Could any one help with this. My speaker icon has disappeared from my
taskbar. When I go to sounds and audio and check the box where it says place
volume icon in taskbar, I get this error message: windows cannot display the
volume control on taskbar because volume control program has not been
installed. To install use add/remove program in control panel.Thanks for any
help you can give me, Ann

If it were me, I would have followed the instructions in the error message.
Just out of curiosity did it give you an error when you reinstalled?

This is an MS-Access database newsgroup and you'd be more likely to get
better help in a Windows newgroup.
