Trying to block Spam.

Is it possible to set up a rule that if the sender is not
in my contact list then the mail bounces. i.e. gets
deleted before it goes to the junk mail.

Get Outlook 2003 - it's built-in filtering can do exactly that.

Check out the VetoMail.com add-in.

DEAR GOD DON'T CHECK OUT VetoMail.com !!!!!!!!

VetoMail.com is actually advertised via SPAM. It's owned and operated
by the same people who send you the SPAM to begin with.

mailwasher.com works well for me.
Spambully.com is a decent Outlook plugin, but it's been a while since
I used it.

Mozilla and Thunderbird (mozilla.org) have built in SPAM Filtering.

VetoMail.com is owned and sold by SPAMmers. Don't use it. You'll
regret it.

I use SpamPal which has nice plug-ins... although some spam causes a GPF in
the RegEx module... but it is easy to work around. The bayesian filter is
adaptive and learns... so after several weeks it runs quite fine on its own.
