I am trying to receive messages from Ebay, they say their messages are being
filtered by my OE. Can anyone tell me how to stop OE from filtering these
emails
I have been trying for 3 days to get instructions from them.
I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks

Best to ask in an OE newsgroup - this is where the OE experts dwell.

I know you know the answer, OE is part of XP, your answer tissess me off.
and if you don't know the answer your knowledge is no better than mine.
Have a nice day.

BOO ****ING HOO.

You're a moron who doesn't know where to ask a question.

His knowledge in the toenail of his left foot is better than whatever
you can muster in your whole body.

Mhm. Interesting reply. It seems you're unhappy
about me suggesting where you might get the best
help for OE problems. I suspect you have a bad hair
day. Relax and try again when you have recovered.

I am normally very nice on these news groups, but I expect an MVP to be able
to answer my question as I am sure he/she has had the same problem. If they
do they should share it, without chasing people all over the internet.
No pun intended

Your interpersonal skills need a lot of work. I'm an MVP too, but with an
attitude like yours, I certainly am not interested in even trying to help
you. Pegasus tried to help by telling you where you were most likely to get
the help you were looking for, and in return, he gets an argument from you.
Have it your own way.

Have a nice day yourself.

No.

If you are "normally very nice" you would do some research and post
your question to the appropriate newsgroup, so as to not place an
inappropriate burden on those who are sticking to the subject.

If you're too lazy to do that... suffer the consequences.

It's hard to comprehend your reply. This is a peer to peer newsgroup.
Everyone that posts here, MVPs included, are volunteering their time, to
help others. We don't work for MS, nor is this formal MS tech support. You
are not entitled to an answer from anyone.

In this instance Pegasus tried to direct you to the best place to get your
question answered. Had I been the first to come to this thread I would have
done the same. There are quite a few specialty newsgroups that cover
aspects of XP to which posters are commonly referred, including internet
explorer, media player, media center, movie maker, outlook express, and
windows update to name just some. This newsgroup focuses on XP OS issues
for which there is not a more specific newsgroup.

Hopefully Pegasus is right and you're just having a bad day. Otherwise if
you don't like the help you got, ask for refund for what you paid to ask
your question.

OE won't filter anything that you haven't deliberately set it to by
creating a rule or adding the send to the Blocked Senders list. Simply
reverse whichever of those two actions you took to initially block those
emails.

Not unless you actively set up rules in the block senders list in OE. I
personally filter my smtp email with MailWasher Pro application before
downloading mail. There are scams out there regarding Ebay and your Ebay
account. Be careful.
