My c: is almost running out. Any tips that I can claim some of them back?

You could always do the obvious and uninstall seldom used programs.

Other ideas:

Go to your Internet properties and delete the temporary internet
files, then reduce the maximum size of the cache.

Go to your C: drive properties and run the disk cleanup utility

Consider upgrading to a larger hard drive, or adding a second hard
drive for your storage requirements. New hard drives are quite
affordable these days.

Presuming you have another partition (drive letter) try moving things to
that:

Open a window on
C:\Documents and Settings\<you>
to show My Documents, another on a different drive, and *right* drag the
My Documents over, taking *Move* here.

You can also move the other 'my ' folders in the same way

In Control Panel - Internet Options, delete Temporary Internet Files,
and then take settings and reduce the space allowed, which is likely to
be far more than needed - and/or redirect to a different drive.

And in Outlook express, Tools - Options - Maintenance - Store folder,
redirect that to a different drive.

Finally in Control Panel - System - System Restore highlight the C drive
and take Settings. Reduce the space allowed if more than 1GB (I find
500 MB adequate)
