Ok, installed sp2... slows everything down drasticly, and
disconnects me from internet when downloading anything
for more than a minute. The popup blocker ends up being
more of a hassle than just closing the popups
manually.... I use my puter mainly for gaming, and the
rest of my gaming crew have had the same problem... Guess
I should have been smart and waited at least 2 months
before downloading any sp's...since they will probably be
patched several times over with all the negative
complaints. Microsoft really dropped the ball on this
one. I guess it's nice to test stuff on extrememly
expensive machines a normal consumer can only dream of
having when u have billions of dollars. Needless to say,
big hassle and headache

I have posted a few other posts complimenting XP SP2. I
have it on 3 machines, all running slicker than snot! LOL
I agree you should have waited if you have special
hardware and software because of compatability, but
otherwise (factory built or PC's with 'not-so special
hware and sware) should be okay.
