When updating windowx XP I get an error message that
reads:

The following updates failed to be installed successfully:

Update for Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS)
2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1 (KB842773).

What could be the problem?

you would do better reposting in the updates NG. Most people here only
deal with browser problems.
 
When did SP2 come out, and where did you get it??
Microsoft.com doesnt have it available for download yet.

Is this just for XP Pro. I use Home, will this work for
me, or should I wait until they release it thru Windows
Update?
