When I was downloading sp2 i accinentally cancelled the
download. When i ran windows update again it would tell
me that there is no critical updates available. I know
that sp2 is not installed...is there anything in the
system that is telling the systen update that i already
have sp2 installed even if its not installed....please
help

go to control panel intall uninstall programs loof for

sp2 uninstall /remove it then go to windows to reistall
or go to widows and order sp2 cd its free easier than
download
