I am having trouble with crashes since installing SP2. I see from a previous
question that the advice was to check the dump files. How do I do this? The
system crashes at least once a day and it is not always when I am connected
to the web. Has anyone any ideas. In event viewer I get the message
InverselaunchIPI error 6. Can someone advise?

Hi

Do you see the Blue Screen(s) associated with the dump files? If so, could
you please post the Stop Code from those BSODs?

will do next time it happens

After I installed SR2 on my Dell 8300, I was getting blue-screen crashes
more than once a day. Something about a "BAD_POOL_HEADER".

It appears that this is caused by some kind of driver problem or driver
conflict. (I haven't upgraded a number of my drivers in quite a while.)
But I wasn't able to figure out which driver is causing the problem.
So I was forced to remove SR2. I wasn't going to upgrade every damn
driver because that could introduce even more problems.

On the blue secreen I get programme files\common
files\symantecshared\validatedat First allocation unit not valid. Does this
help?
