SP2 wreaks HAVOC

I have XPHE. just updated to SP2. now too many problems to list. tried to
uninstall from add/remove programs but threw back errors. is there another
way to uninstall? maybe a microsoft removal tool or something?
 
Using your Windows XP installation CD, perform a repair install,
then install SP2.

I would suggest performing the following maintenance prior to
installing SP2:

Download Ad-Aware 6.0 and scan your PC for the presence of spyware:
