Hello

Since installing SP2 most things are working. The only problem I have at the
moment is that I cant open one type of application. Its called an "E-Book
Application" by Business Commerce Systems. It works fine without SP2.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Have you loosen up your Explorer Internet 6 SP2 settings so that you
can open secure pop-ups?
Try this, in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, open 'Tools', 'Internet Options',
'Privacy', 'Pop-up Blocker', either uncheck 'Block pop-ups' in the pop-up
settings or use 'Low Allow pop-ups from secure sites' or add the address
of your E-Book application site in the pop-up blocker groups.

Just a suggestion, may or may not work

Nope. Didnt work. But thanks anyway.

Hi

A wild guess here, but try this:

In the 'Internet Options', select the Advanced tab.

Under Security, enable
"Allow active content from CDs to run on My Computer"
if you run the app from a CD.

Regardless if you run it from CD or not, enable

"Allow active content to run in files on My Computer"

Probably a security zone conflict. It's not really XPsp2
but some of the security patches which come with it.

BTW you are looking in the wrong newsgroup.

Here is an extract from a reply about it in ie6.browser.
Since it was current at the time I used the opportunity
as a search tutorial too.

Key search phrase is "Mark of the web"

....

You're still using the old version of the web interface to newsgroups
where the search is usually useless.

The new version doesn't allow any search expressions as Google Groups
does but it is still remarkably useful even with just those 5 words.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie...19a1&catlist=&dglist=&ptlist=&exp=&sloc=en-US

However, the simplest search given the information from my hint
would have been:

http://www.google.com/search?q=ramesh+"mark+of+the+web"
