SP2 won't install

Hi. I bought the SP2 CD from microsoft (home modem too slow for download).
It autoruns OK and copies a whole lot of files across, and then .....
nothing. The hourglass symbol disappears, and everything is unchanged.

I've tried restarting, reinstalling - same story each time.

(It's a P4 2.8 with 1GB RAM)

Any ideas?
