Dear Experts,

I have the latest zonealarm security Suite , and i

and i'm running norton antivirus to scan for viruses ,
when i installed SP2
it didn't detect my norton antivirus , it tells me that
zonealarm antivirus
is turned off , and i don't want to work with zonealarm AV

Regards

You need to turn off ZA to make SP2 work..Go in on safe
mode and get rid of ZA..New Start and get rid of Norten
and reinstall it to make it work..you don't deed ZA
anymore.Do all the new starts and updates for Norten...

Totally false. ZoneAlarm 5.1.011 works perfectly with SP2.

Totally false again. Simply run liveupdate to get the patch that allows SP2
to monitor NAV.

Thats a load of crap! It is NOT necessary to turn off Zone Alarm to
make Service Pack 2 work. The OP is probably referring to Norton not
showing up in the Windows Security Center. This has ABSOLUTELY
NOTHING to do with Norton's ability to detect and remove viruses.
Norton works just fine even if it does not report its status to WSC.

In fact, Symantec has released patches for its products which cause
them to show up correctly in the Windows Security Center.

YOU, sir, are one of the reasons millions of other users are not
protected by firewalls and antivirus products. The crap you are
pushing in this newsgroup only leads the weak and unknowledgable to
keep themselves from protecting their computers. I advise you to GET
OFF LINE soon.

Millions of users like you are currently running ZOMBIE PCs for
hackers and spammers. The sooner you get offline, the safer the rest
of us will be.
