Has any one who updated to SP2 had the problem where they cant right click on
anything or exploror erorrs. anyone know how to fix it or am i going to have
to un install SP2 untill the next realse of SP2 or a update to SP2 comes out

Thanks

Some who have DIVX installed have reported this and resolved by
uninstalling DIVX.

This is a shot in the dark, but do you have McAfee Viruscan installed? I
found this:
Slow right click
Firstly, too many fonts installed can cause this problem (in the many
hundreds). Delete those weird and wonderful ones (but don't delete tahoma or
marlett).

McAfee VirusScan has been noted to cause this problem. Their instructions
are as follows:

Open Regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
NETWORK ASSOCIATES
TVD
SHARED COMPONENTS
ON ACCESS SCANNER
McSHIELD
CONFIGURATION

Double-click on the ScannerThreadTimeout and change the value to eight f 's
(ffffffff)

Close and restart VShield.

Try disabling third party programmes (antivirus and crashguards - especially
NORTON) to see if the problem goes away.

Yes.. I had the problem that if I right clicked a folder I would not get a
context menu. The computer would hang and then the desktop would refresh
itself and the icon in tray by clock would close down. If I press
ALT/Control/Del after trying to do a right click the task window would show
the folder as Not Responding....I could right click on the My Computer or
Recycle Bin and get a context menu but not on a folder... I ended up going
back to SP1 and sent a note to Microsoft...Microsoft is looking into the
issue....

Did you have Divx?

There has been a fix posted at the DivX web site for about a month now....
you can download the latest version of DivX which is SP2 compliant...
Been using it again without problems...
