Hello all,

After downloading and installing SP2, I now find to my alarm that everything
is working just fine.
Outlook Express needed only a tweak, but what has turned my alarm into a
feeling of utter dread, is that
Windows Messenger ALSO only needed a tweak and is now working beautifully.
I fear the worst.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!
Heeeeeeeeeeeelp!

Yeah, you could sort out your clock.

Imagine, my SP2 install needed no tweaks! What should I do??
I didn't even turn off my third party FireWall, as I'm somewhat adventurous.
I'm stymied by this issue.
The thing was flawless and I too fear the worst.... It worked!
No assistance needed, I'll muddle my way through it.
Just wanted to share your 'pain'.

Almost orgasmic, isn't it!

I don't know if I'd go that far...
Almost orgasmic, isn't it!
P.s. I t all worked fine, until I messed with my network. oops. Now I've had
to uninstall it, and start over.
So, it's more like a tease now. Imagine my chagrine.

I'm with you. I've successfully installed SP2 on both my home PCs and try as
I might, I can't find a single blessed thing wrong with it. I have a 3 year old
Dell Dimension 8100 w/1.3 GHz CPU and a brand new PC w/Asus P4P800 SE mobo and
Intel Prescott 3.2 GHz CPU and both are working perfectly after SP2. I did
flash my BIOS to get up to CPU revision "B" because it was revision "7" on the
new machine.
All my apps are working, both my USB printers are working, my parallel port
scanner is working, my ZIP 100 parallel port drive is working -AND- my house is
still standing, my gas, electric, telephone, and water services are still
working, my lawn is still nice and green, and my wife and two dogs and I are
still healthy. :-)
After browsing this newsgroup I was really concerned about SP2, but as hard
as I've looked, I just can't seem to find anything wrong with it. I'm sure that
ANY software with 266 MB of code has to have some bugs, but I sure can't find
them, and I know several other folks who've had similar experience. Good job
Microsoft!
