How do you recover in case SP2 fouls up your system? How do you get back to
where you were before SP2?

Thanks

When SP2 installs, it automatically creates a restore point that will
return your system to the pre-SP2 state. As with any restore point, it
will be notated with a date. You should be able to go view the restore
points and pick the one on the date you installed SP2 and be fine that
way.

If that doesn't work, go back another day or two. Be aware that
restore points only preserve certain things. You'll retain Windows
fine and any programs that are on your machine at the time of the
restore point will also be preserved. However, you'll lose any apps
put on your machine after the date of the restore point.
