SP2 - Network / Printer Issue(s)

Using Dell Demensia 2400 with BCM 440X chipset w/XP Home.

User hooked up to Network for Access to HP NetportExpress 10/100 for printer
and internet access.

Internet works fine but the user does nor see the network nor the printer.

Done to date:

1. Tried restore points - can't delete SP2
2. Tried to delete SP2, it keeps coming back
3. Removed printer and reinstalled, no good.

Please help me! Every other computer that did NOT upgrade to SP2 is
working. Our network is just a card to a hub to the router.

Please help!
