SP2 = IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Hi,

After installing SP2, I could not reboot normally - only in Safe Mode. I
have looked at http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.php#0xd1 and the the online Win
XP Resource Kit to no avail.

I tried systematically disbling devices and rebooting, but after 2 days of
no success, I rolled-back the system using System Restore. I disabled Virus
protection and stopped the UPS service (and uplugged its cable) and
attempted to re-install SP2 with the same result.

Any other ideas?

Don't install SP2
There ia a common saying going around: You only install EVEN (1, 3, ...) MS
servicepacks.
