We access remote clients via VNC software. I discovered that if SP2 is
installed on the workstation and firewall is activated (be default), we
cannot connect to the workstation until the firewall is deactivated.

Is there an installation option to diable the firewall ? I'm trying to avoid
going to each machine locally and perform the install.

Bill,

If your systems are in a Domain, you can use the Group Policy to allow firewall exceptions.

For more information, you may try the network_web and related groups. MS Newsgroup listing is available at Jim's site: http://aumha.org/nntp.php
