SP2 Horror Story

Since I installed SP2, the stylus on my etch-a sketch seems to have dulled
and the output on the pad is no longer consistent.

Knowing what caused the problem, I uninstalled SP2 - but the etch-a-sketch
still didn't work correctly. I got so mad I stomped my foot which woke my
dog unexpectedly. He got pissed and ran after the cat. In his excitement, my
dog ran into the wall and broke his neck.

I feel Microsoft owes me a new cat, as she died from a broken heart after
the loss of her longtime companion.

Can't Microsoft do anything right?

Damn I hoped you were chasin the dog at full speed.

dang it .don't ya know that etch a sketch only supports
windows 'me' .
seen the one on the boards today about someone seeing
windows xp security center, and wondering how to turn on
the antivirus portion of it. good laughs.

Getting back, SP2 is so screwed! All my settings have restored to default and
it says that it take up 120mb or somthin and its taken up 2gb! Can I
uninstall and get my old version back or will i have to stay with it or will
i have to download SP1?

SP2 deleted the XP theme on my abacus and now the beads are all one color..
how confusing is that?.. I tried 'rebooting' the abacus but some of the
beads fell off after it hit the wall.. question 1. can I do a system restore
using a standard watercolour palette?.. question 2. the cable TV company
must have installed SP2 because the TV is showing the same programs over and
over.. if I unscrew the cable from the back of the TV, will this clear the
TV's memory so that when I reattach it, I can see something new?..

This is a known problem and MS is working diligently on acquiring
etch-a-sketch so the product can be discontinued. 8-)

Since upgrading to SP2, my wife 1.0 somehow changed to
wife wideload 1.1. When I tried to reboot wife wideload
1.1, it tried to boot back. I tried to use the bengal
tiger restore program, but wife wideload 1.1 wasn`t fast
enough to return to wife 1.0 and the restore ended up
feasting on wide load. Now I have to start all over but
with wife 1.1. I know now not to install SP2 over wife 1.0

This is a three pointer. The above statement reads like
most of the CDO posts on this group.

What about the reports that the Global Weather Service was running XP
and their problems after installing SP2? Supposedly it sent the
Hurricane subprogram into auto-gen and....

....danny

"Longtime companion" is ususally used in obituaries as a
euphemism for "homosexual lover." Exactly what sort of
relationship did your pets have? Do you have any pictures?

Curiosity killed the cat. Watch out, it might kill you, too!
