Since I have loaded SP2, I frequently get "The page
cannot be displayed" error. Hitting reload a few times
will bring it back.

Firefox gives me "www.domain.com could not be found.
Please check the name and try again."

Thanks in advance.

SP2 is still in beta and I believe has it's own group. They can
probably help you over there.

SP2 RTM has been officially released! I do not typically
install beta software here at work.

I am rolling out the SP2 on our test network here at the
hospital. I have seen this error on the two machines on
which I installed it.

Somebody please help.

Windows XP SP2 RTM version has an inbuilt "safety" feature in it's TCP stack
that limits the number of half-open TCP connections to 10 PER ORIGINATING
PORT, after which additional connections are refused from that port. The
purpose of this is to reduce the effectiveness of internet worms and SMTP
enabled viruses, it will also reduce the effectiveness of most current P2P
applications.
