I'm using XP home, Linksys Router. After installing SP2 I
was not able to connect to the internet. Event viewer
stated "The system detected that newtwork
adapter\device\tcpip XXXX-XXXX-etc., was disconnected from
the network and the adapter's newtwork configuration has
been released. Please contact you vendor for updated
drivers" I then uninstalled SP2 back to SP1. The adapter
under device manager is the CNet Pro200WL so I downloaded
the new driver. When I tried to install the updated
drivers I got stopped again stating that the Ethernet
controller is missing from my computer. Went back to
located the controller under device manager and there
wasn't a thing listed, just seems to be missing. Anyone
having this problem too?
