OK so I have SP2 installed, and everything seems to be working Ok, so far..
Except for one thing, That isn't that Big a deal but.......

When I boot up window XP it used to present me with the screen that
shows each users little Icon with their name on it. Now, I'm the only
user on this machine, so there was only one presented.

It used to be I would click on this Icon, and then windows would finish
loading.

NOW since installing XP sp2, and the .net sp1 update after that
(windows update told me to) when I boot up my computer it just goes
straight to windows and doesn't show the interim screen with the user
Icons on it.

PLEASE help me bring it back.

TIA

Hi,
I'm a new babe at this and far from a tech wizard.

I loaded XP2 ( from the full version download) and now I cant print.
print goes to print queue and just sits there.
Changed printer .
added new printer. made it local on LPT1.
tried "Echo to printer" in command run no reply.

sometimes during this I get a "spooling wants to access the internet" messge
from the firewall. Yes to that doesnt do anything either.

Can anyone help or tell me how to post a general help mesge to you all?
