SP2 and SpyBot and SpySweeper

I recently installed Service Patch 2 on my Windows XP computer. My
supervisor suggest that I install both SpyBot and SpySweeper on this computer.
What is the advisability of installing spyware on Windows XP SP2? Anyone
had any problems or have any suggestions?

I have both on my PC and have had no problems with them. PC is currently
running on XP Pro with SP2
