I have a friend who lives on a boat in Phuket, Thailand and his computer
dealer has warned him not to install SP2 because it will disable his
Bluetooth mobile telephone. Since that is his only form of communications
over there, he depends on it for internet access and telephone
communications.
So, he is very reluctant to upgrade to SP2. I would like to ask if anyone
has heard of a documented problem with Bluetooth and SP2 or is this just
another example of a lame-brained dealer no wanting to deal with the issues
of an O/S upgrade.
I still remember one of them warning of catastrophic events if I upgraded
from Win98SE to XP. I'm glad I didn't listen to him.
Thanks,
Tom
