SP2 and AMD processor compatability

Has anyone upgraded XP with the SP2 with an AMD processor? Was there any
problems? I heard it wasn't a good thing.
 
Whom ever you heard it from doesn't know "ANYTHING" about the subject. They
are just parroting incorrect information that they have heard - from someone
else who doesn't know crap about computers - and so on and so forth!

Once and for all...this is a myth...an old wives tale...total bullsh*t...

There is no problem with AMD processors and SP2...probably a rumor started
by the intel fanboy group to feed their own insecurities.

I don't know how this crap got started, but it seems like it will never die
(sadly).

I run XP Pro (Service Pack 2) with an AMD Duron 1.2 GHz microprocessor. No
problems have been found.

No problems here with an AMD Athlon64 3200 and SP2.
