If I buy a new Windows Xp Professional or Home cd will it come with SP1 already integreated into it???
And if I buy a new pc with windows xp will the company i buy it from sell me the new windows xp SP1 cd's assuming the new cd's have SP1 integrated into it?

And when SP2 comes out when will it be integrated into Windows XP?

Yes, the ones in stores now have SP1a built in.

The service packs can always be downloaded for free from Microsoft
(www.windowsupdate.com)

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/servicepacks/sp1/default.asp

You can also order a CD, if the download is too big for you:
http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/pro/downloads/servicepacks/sp1/ordercd.asp

Once SP2 comes out, the retail versions will probably start to include that
service pack.

But once again, you can always upgrade it for free.

1. If you buy Windows XP now, it will most likely have SP1, but there
are no guarantees since there may be some pre SP1 still on the
shelves.
There is a marking on the CD that SP1 is included, but not on the box.

2. Only the particular company can answer what they will and will not
do.
Different companies have different policies and Microsoft is not a
part of it.

SP2 will eventually be included in the new copies of Windows XP, as to
when, see answer #1.

SP2 is only available in a so-called Beta form for now.
SP2 can only legally be obtained if you are a part of the
Beta Testing for MS (again, for now). At first you
allegedly download it without an account and password
from neowin. Not the case anymore :(
