At the moment i have windows XP SP2, my computer is going horribly slow and i
want to know if i take it back to SP1 will it make it go any faster and is
there any way to change it back to SP1 and if so how. What are the changes in
SP1 from SP2?

1. Did the slowness occur immediately after installing SP2?

2. Was the computer completely virus/malware-free before you installed
SP2? What programs (including versions) did you use to determine this?

3. If you have an OEM computer (Dell, HP, Sony, etc.) did you go to the
OEM's website and install any updates required before installing SP2?

4. Give a description of your computer - make/model if OEM, generic,
some hardware specs, etc.
