Hi , I have 2 computers on 1 monitor via a kvm switch, i have seen where
installing sp1 has had some problems with usb ports. Will i have problems
installing with my kvm switch ? Thanks,
Mark

Not to be rude, but how is anyone here going to know? The only way you'll
know for sure is to install SP1 and see what happens. Do some Google
searching on your KVM and see if others are having problems with it, even if
they are that doesn't mean you will.

Thanks, I have been using it with no problems, was just wondering about using
it with sp1

Well i thought someone my have had issues with a kvm switch , sorry i asked
,after reading in this forum about sp1 it sounds like more problems than it's
worth and i don't need any more problems with vista than i allready have.

Don't be sorry, just realize that you provided us no information to go on,
you didn't even say which make/model KVM you were using. I have a USB KVM on
a Vista SP1 box with no problems at all.

Thanks, It is a 2 port belkin f1dk102u, it's been working on vista, but like
i said don't know if it will work with sp1? I tried to install sp1 the other
day and it would only load to 13% and the old code- 80073712 and i did all
that support said to do and no go. I did find corrupt files after i ran sfc,
don't know how they got corruped ? Have had problems with vista from day one
with freezing up. My computer is all vista compatible. I reinstalled
vista, thats why i say need no more problems,

Well i just installed sp1 and everything is working fine except i did get
this winlog.exe error 0x76688de3 memory at 0x7664d1.d0 not placed into memory
because of I/O error status of 0xcooooooe, w3hat every that means.
