Hi,

This is my first visit to this newsgroup, I see some people have a problem
with SP2. I have no problem with SP2, it installed fine and has caused no
problems for me but I plan a reformat tomorrow, can anyone tell me please,
do I have to install SP1 first before SP2 or does SP2 contain all of SP1 up
until SP2?

Many Thanks,

C.T.

If you have SP2 in OK there is no need to go back and
do SP1.

Hi,

You only need install SP2, it contains everything that was in SP1a.

SP2 includes all of the items that were included in SP1. it is not
necessary to install SP1 before installing SP2.

This is the 100th posting of this question on this group. Do you know there
is this thing called google?

Microsoft just left the "Top Twenty Questions Answered!" out of the SP2
installation process. That's the first mistake. Would have saved lots
of grief and confusion.

Nobody went and found it and posts it to the newsgroup every six hours.
That's the second.

SP2 is comprehensive; you do not need SP1 first
