SP1 after security patches have been applied

I have convinved my friend to aply the recent security patches but hes
on normal dial-up and his pc is a bout a year out of date

thing is - if he applies the 125mb service pack 1 AFTER the small patches he
applied last week (after getting the worm) will it work ok ?

Hello Zero,
Yes it will work. The installer for the service pack and the patches does
check the file versioning. So the file with the higher version will remain
on the system. The recent patches will all have a higher version that
Service Pack one.

that was a major concern - i didnt want to totally confuse my friends pc !
