Document has been sent to me and has a line of <sp><sp> characters which do
not print but cannot be selected, deleted etc. Does anyone know what this is
please?

Are you actually seeing "<sp<sp>" ? If not, can you describe exactly what
you are seeing? Is the document in Word format?

Hiya.

Yes - am actually seeing <sp><sp> etc. It doesnt print but if I delete it
the whole text of the document is deleted too.

Not spaces - am actually seeing <sp><sp> not the usual space "dot" when
Show/Hide is enabled.

No - tried that - no table commands available at all although it does look
like a table format!

Have we already asked what you see if you toggle fields (Alt+F9)?

I'm beginning to suspect some kind of document corruption. I can't think of
anything in Word that would give you <sp><sp>. I know of editors who will do
that, however, if you misspell something. ;-)

If you'd care to email me the document, I can take a look. Send to
