SP@ Cancelled

I started the SP2 update when the automatic update also
started. I cancelled what i thought was the automatic
update, but apparently it (also) cancelled the update I
was in process of updating. Now the history says the SP2
update was cancelled. How can I reinstall? ( I am also
getting a failed status on the first subsequent .net
update, but not the second. What to do - order the SP2 CD
and use it to reinstall?
 
I have tried the automatic update and the windows update
and it does not select SP2 but rather other subsequent
updates only. It seems that it thinks it has done the SP2
update, even though the history calls it cancelled. I
guess i just have to wait until the CD arrives. Thanx.

You can check its status by right clicking on My

Computer and click on properties, then click the
Automatic Updates tab and make sure it is
on.

Alternatively you can just go to www.windowsupdate.com

and do the Express Install and get SP2 installed, as well
as any others that are
applicable to your PC.

Or if you have a really fast internet connection you can

download the complete SP2 package and save it on your
machine and then run it
