sp 1 for xp pro?

I just ran the windows update on my xp pro version...how
do you tell if your computer has the latest update? is
sp1 the latest update? should it say under system
properties>General? all it said there was microsoft xp
professional version 2002.

if i just ran the windows update and sp1 is the latest one
(correct me if i'm wrong), should it supposed to say sp1?

Open windows explorer, click on help/about windows. It will say if service
pack 1 is installed or not.

Right click "My Computer" and select "Properties."

If SP1 was installed, it will be the last line under the first entry,
"System"
