Help,
I am trying to download Java runtime (so I can use Pogo Games! sad I Know!)
and it works fine until I get the error message 1131, "Source file not
found, C\Documents & settings\owner\Local settings|Temporary Internet
files\Content.IE5\A10JQHA5\pI50050[1].cab

Anyone help please?

Steve

Either the installer unpacked it's contents incorrectly or there is a
space issue in your TIF/Temp folders. Did you select Open or
Save when downloading ?

I would probably create a Downloads folder in the root of your
drive. Re-do the download, but direct it's destination to the newly
created Downloads folder. Once the download completes then
run the Java installer from that Downloads folder. Once pointed
to a folder - future downloads will also default to that location.

You probably should dump your Temporary Internet Cache folder
and both your local profile temp and the System temp folder as
well.

Hi Steve,

From the browser, click tools/internet options, then on the general tab
click the button to delete files in the 'temporary internet files' section.
Then retry installing the java runtime.
