Source Control on the web

Is there any application that could be used to put source files on the web
for source control because source safe can not do it ??

Could you add some more detail on '...put source code file to the web...'. Are you talking about deployment to the web? If yes, check out the WebDeployment feature of VSS

Are you looking for source control with a web interface or remote source
control over the internet. If it's the latter you may want to look at
SourceOffsite from SourceGear:
