Sounds in power point

I got a power point slide that has sound. Does anyone
know how to get the sound file off of it? Where is it
hidden? I want to use the sound for one the sounds on my
computer (new e-mail). Thanks

Where did the powerpoint files come from?

Is the sound subject to copyright ?

If you "file" "save as html" or "file" "save as a web page"

Then follow all the prompts....eventually powerpoint will spew out the wav file. It will be called something like
sound001.wav (or similar)
