SoundMAX Install Failure

I am trying to install the SoundMax drivers and applications on a P4P800.
The setup fails with the following error after accepting the licensing
agreement:

Error: SoundMAX WDM Driver not found.

Any clues as to what is going on? Thanks.

How are the drivers being installed --- from the P4P800 installation
cdrom screen or trying to force it by going direct to the SoundMax
folder?
