sound

Hi, I am having a problem with my sound. it first
happened today, I put on some music and the sound through
my speakers had dropped. Everything was on max, the
volume control and on the media player control and it was
not givine of much sound at all. When i unplug my
speakers and plug it back in it is loud for about 3
seconds and the sound dropps again.
Please help.

I would have thought the answer was obvious - replace your speakers.

sperakers are ok on my other pc, and they are ok for
about 3 seconds wen i plug it in to this computer, so
no... its not 'obvious'

Well had you chosen to include that salient information, you would't have
received that sort of reply! Suggest you replace the card then.
 
oh my god me 2 Darren! earlier today my audio was working pretty well, but later on it just went off.. I don't know what happened.. Now I'm suffering watching videos with no sound! I went to adjust the system volume and unfortunately it said "no audio device" that's really weird.. can some one help me????? please I beg your help!
 
mine is working ok now, i think it was my sound card. but
i dont know. i just listning to it quietly when... BAM!
the whole street could hear my music. good luck with
yours mike, if it aind the speakers or software it must
be time to get a new sound card mike...
 
lucky you! but where can I find my sound card? how do I fix it? help me!! ahh this is so depressing =(
 
So if that doesn't work I suppose you'll recommend replacing the computer?
