April 1st has come and gone.. you can quit with the jokes now.. grab a
beer.. turn the lights down low.. relax.. if you have a cd with the sounds
of humpback whales 'singing', place it in the computer cd tray and listen to
it.. awww shit.. no sounds coming out.. think about what you typed here.. no
sounds so the computer works out that maybe, just maybe it needs to replace
missing or corrupted files.. it asks for a cd so that it can locate and
replace the missing files.. but wait.. it never needed a cd before.. look at
your computer.. it is lying to you.. naughty computer.. bad XP.. lets
compile a question that is sheer idiocy to a newsgroup and see if they know
better than the wayward, insolent computer.. here goes..
We'll start with the basic problem first, and try to keep it simple.. 1st
line.. "i can't get sound to come out of my comp.
OK.. so far so good.. now for the error or message that the computer
displays.. 2nd line.. "It asks me to put in an installation cd, but it never
needed it before so i know it doesn't need one.".. there, that proves that
you are no fool.. you have outwitted the computer.. lol..
Next, we will say what corrective measures and/or checks we have made based
upon the error message.. 3rd line.. "I plug the speakers into the correct
hole in the comp but nothing comes out of it"... way to go.. good job..

Now we will show our frustration because that way, the techies will feel
sorry for us and reply quickly.. 4th line (2 parts).. "It sux.".. lololol..
"I can't fix it.".. lolololol..
Now lets put all the parts together and form a cohesive statement that it
will be understood by all who read such that the lying naughty computer and
big, bad XP will be blamed, and at the same time, we will not appear to be
stupid..
