My computer is running Win2K and not WinXp but there isn't any Windows2k
Music newsgroup. I hope I can still ask this question here.
I leave my computer playing music almost all the time. But at random times
every couple of days the song will just stop (Using Winamp). After I got
back to hit to hit play it doesn't play. None of the windows sounds work
either such as a maximize or minimize sound. I even tried playing a WAV file
with sound recorder and Windows Media Player but they apear to play for
about 3 seconds (but no sound comes out). And then the slider just quits
moving and goes back to the begining. I tried closing every program running
but the problem persists. It only begins to work after I Log off and back on
again. It doesn't even require a reboot, just a log off. Has anybody else
experienced this or know why this would be happening? thanks for any help
you can provide.
