I am confused as to what the problem is...but here is what is happening...I
try to play music, dvd's ar anything with real sound, and when it plays it
dont have the right sound. like if an artist is singing the voice is very
odd like somewhat scratchy. I have windows media player10 and I have
uninstalled it and tried real player. neither one works. I even used the dvd
player that was installed on comp and it is the same. What can be wrong? Any
help would be appreciated!

Hi Laura

Right click "My Computer" on desktop/properties/Hardware/Device Manager/Then
expand "Sound, video and game controllers, and see if you have a yellow
exclamation mark somewhere, if so double click the item and use
"Troubleshoot" That may give you some more advice or info on how to resolve
the matter.
